Jamie Pack (nee: Poag) received her Bachelor of Arts, Summa Cum Laude, from Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina. While there, she studied Christian Education, English, and Music. She is currently pursuing her Masters Degree in English at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. A freelance writer and editor, she hopes to break into the publishing field following her post-graduate work.

As a writer, her broad array of interests range from literature (drawing from her educational background) to Southern cooking to wedding planning thanks to her June 2011 wedding. She writes and edits for various clients, including multiple online sites, magazines, and private clients.
